What is the Seasonal Pay-per-Use “SnowitPass”?
For the 2025/2026 season, the traditional seasonal ski pass has been replaced with SnowitPass, a pay-per-use card that allows you to skiwithout purchasing a ski pass in advance.
You only pay for what you ski, and each ski session counts toward your seasonal threshold. Once you reach your threshold, your subsequent ski sessions will be free for the rest of the season!
In Bormio, by activating SnowitPass, all your ski trips gradually contribute to the resort threshold of € 830.00. Once you reach this amount, you can ski for free in Bormio, Santa Caterina Valfurva and Cima Piazzi-San Colombano for the rest of the season.
The resort also offers an Alta Valtellina threshold of € 1,030.00, which includes Bormio, Santa Caterina Valfurva, Cima Piazzi-San Colombano and Livigno.
Why subscribe toSnowitPass? Here are 3 benefits:
• Local Seasonal Threshold
With SnowitPass, all your ski runs in Bormio, Santa Caterina, and Cima Piazzi-San Colombano will count toward the local seasonal threshold. Once you reach the amount of € 830.00 , you can ski for free for the rest of the season in all three locations.
The resort also offers an Alta Valtellina threshold at € 1,030.00 which also includes Livigno.
There’s no need to buy a seasonal pass in advance: you pay only for what you ski, and once you reach the threshold, subsequent runs are free.
• Regional Seasonal Threshold
By skiing in Bormio with BormioPass, your runs will also contribute to reaching the seasonal threshold for the Lombardy region. Once you reach the threshold at € 1,030.00, you can ski for free in all Lombardy ski resorts. The ski runs accumulated in different regional locations are summed together, allowing you to reach the regional threshold more easily.
• How does it work?
Simply purchase the PayPerUse subscription for only € 15, load it onto your Snowitcard, and link a valid payment method. Once activated, you can access the slopes and pay only for the time you spend skiing, without needing to go through ticket counters.
