24 Dec Lifts open update on Christmas
Despite high temperatures and the lack of snowfalls, the ski areas of the BORMIO SKIPASS district, during Christmas holidays, will be open to public with a proper number of lifts open and a very nice condition of the snow. Let’s find out the details:
S. CATERINA – The ski area of Santa Caterina currently counts 6 lifts open out of 9. The quality of the snow is “for champs”. The Deborah Compagnoni slope is, in fact, ready for the Audi Fis Ski World Cup which will take place on December 29.
BORMIO – In Bormio we have 8 lifts open out of 15. You can ski from Cima Bianca (3,012 m) to Ciuk (1,638 m). The vertical experience is not complete here but it is still enviable and very interesting.
S. COLOMBANO – Here 3 lifts open out of 12. You can only ski on the mountain side of Valdidentro where the cableway and two magic carpets are open. The invitation is oriented mostly to children and beginners who can learn to ski in safe and calm environment.
